Michael Strahan is retracting the news that the gap in his front teeth was closed, saying that it was actually an April Fools' Day prank.
The GMA host and former NFL star tweeted Tuesday a video showing his "procedure" at a cosmetic dentist in New York City. The video was entirely believable, and we all thought he'd gotten rid of his signature gap.
But on Thursday, thankfully, he revealed in a follow-up tweet that "The gap is here to stay."
I was personally devastated when he said he'd closed his gap. I absolutely love Michael Strahan, and his smile is everything......the gap is everything....I was honestly so upset to hear that news. But, I'm SO HAPPY that this was just a prank after all!
