Actress Rose McGowan came after Oprah Winfrey in a Twitter rant, claiming she is "as fake as they come" and pointing out Winfrey's alleged close friendship with Harvey Weinstein.
"I am glad more are seeing the ugly truth of @Oprah," McGowan tweeted along with a photo of Oprah kissing Weinstein's cheek. "I wish she were real, but she isn't. From being pals with Weinstein to abandoning & destroying Russell Simmon's victims, she is about supporting a sick power structure for personal gain, she is as fake as they come. #lizard."
The Daily Mail says McGowan pinned that tweet and shared no further context. It's apparently a response to a clip of an interview Oprah did with Dolly Parton in 2003 which resurfaced on Twitter on Saturday. The clip raised questions on Twitter about Oprah's line of questioning regarding Dolly Parton getting work done.
This is a messy situation, and the Daily Mail has a lot more for you to dive into. Get all the details here.
