A rockslide on Highway 50 caused eastbound and westbound lanes to close early Friday morning.
According to Fox 40, the rockslide occurred at around 5:45 a.m. east of Echo Summit. A CHP lieutenant called it in after he discovered it on his way to work.
A Toyota 4Runner crashed into the boulders after the rockslide occurred, but no injuries were reported.
