A 27-year-old Sacramento man died in a solo car crash on I-80 Thursday morning, Fox 40 reports.
The California Highway Patrol says authorities responded to the scene at around 5:50 a.m. on westbound I-80 at Oday Road. The blue Mazda 6 veered off the road for "unknown reasons" and crashed into a bridge abutment.
The driver, who is unidentified at this time, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries from the accident. He was the only person in the car.
