Starbucks' Land Park location is closing due to "safety concerns."
According to KCRA, the Broadway and 15th Street location closed its doors Thursday last week over safety concerns for its workers. A Starbucks spokesperson elaborated on these concerns, noting "challenges to personal safety and security, racism, a growing mental health crisis, and issues magnified by Covid."
This is the first location in all of Northern California to close because of neighborhood safety concerns.
