An evil twin in Florida is set to serve two years in prison for using his 'good' twin's identity to steal military benefits over the past eight years.
According to HuffPost, 64-year-old Wayne Bowen was sentenced yesterday after being caught earlier this year. Initially, he claimed that both he and his brother served in the military together but later admitted that only his brother served.
Bowen was able to get federally subsidized housing benefits by using his brother's information to get a Florida ID, which he then used with his brother's discharge papers to get the benefits.
Bowen's 'good' twin brother lives in another state and says he didn't give Wayne permission to use his identity.
