A recent viral video of a mama bear scrambling to save her cubs on a busy Connecticut road has apparently hit a nerve.
Titled “Bearenting,” the video shows the black bear running back and forth across the street as two of her cubs try to climb a pole, one lags behind, and two are grabbed up in her mouth and carried across the street.
Comments on Twitter were all in support of the bear, acknowledging the struggles of single mothers.
One person wrote: “Parents everywhere nodding their heads in solidarity while they watch this video.”
Another commenter wrote: Poor mama, she has my sympathy dealing with her adorable but wayward kids. Beautiful sight to see that long line of cars (patiently?) waiting.”
And one said: “Bear Mama, I know your struggle. You have the one you have to drag, the one that willingly follows, and the happy-go-lucky one about to get run over.”
