A great week for two-thirds of the Boomer & Gio crew, as both Gio and Boomer went 4-1 to keep Gregg seven games ahead of the Boompa. Jerry wasn’t as successful, and now facing a 10-game deficit, it’s gonna take a miracle for the 2020 trophy to reside in the Recco home down the shore.
This week, Jerry unveiled a new strategy based on geography, and there was a lot of agreement with Al’s parlay picks (or on the spot picks)…so, yeah, could be a rough one, especially since four of the five games are simpatico and only Jerry dissents on the fifth – meaning he could be officially eliminated next week if Minnesota doesn’t win by four or more.

Boomer: 30-40 (4-1)
Jerry: 27-43 (2-3)

Boomer’s take: “Is Dan Bailey still kicking for Minnesota? Yes? Then I’m taking the Bears.”
BONUS TAKE from Vikes fan Gio: “Despite the score and the result, the Vikings played well as a team against Tampa Bay on the road, outside of the kicker. They’re coming back home, they’re pissed off and have a shot at the playoffs, and the Bears have been really good offensively…I think the Vikings die finally a slow death at home this week.”
GAME 4: A at LA Rams (-17.5)

Gio’s take: “We pick the Jets game every week because it’s tradition but is anyone picking the Jets? If you do, you’re nuts. You either don’t bet it or pick the Rams. If you pick the Jets you’re a moron.”

Boomer: Cleveland
Jerry: Cleveland
Boomer’s take: “The Browns have scored 82 points in their last two games. They’ve turned it up a lot, I like them by at least a touchdown…and I can’t pick games just to go against you.”
