PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – A day after putting guard Matt Feiler on Injured Reserve, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin cleared up an injury to his back-up, Kevin Dotson.

Originally the Steelers said Dotson had a pectoral injury, same as Feiler, but it turns out the rookie has a shoulder injury and while his week is in question, no longer term designation for Dotson.

Starting right tackle Chukwuma Okorafor has an ankle injury and was replaced briefly by Gerald Hawkins on Sunday.  Okorafor has started every game since the injury to starter Zach Banner in week one.  Okorafor will be evaluated during the week.

Tomlin said they continue to be committed to improving the run game, but have one lineman out, two more questionable and he announced Tuesday that starting tailback James Conner has a quad injury and they’ll see what he can do this week.

Yet another injury on the defensive side, this to starting safety Terrell Edmunds.  He’s the team’s third leading tackler and also a question mark.

There was a glimpse of good news, Tomlin said there is a chance corner Joe Haden gets out of concussion protocol as he missed the Bills game on Sunday.

First practice of the week is Wednesday and they’ll get a bonus practice day on Saturday due to the Monday night game in Cincinnati.
