Heinz Field to host fans for Steelers playoff game

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly planning on having fans at Heinz Field for their upcoming playoff game.

The number is still being worked on, but this will mark the first time fans have been permitted into Heinz Field since PA Gov. Tom Wolf set restrictions on gatherings on Dec. 12.

The restriction was set in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Since Gov. Wolf plans on lifting certain restrictions on Jan. 4, it leaves the opportunity open to host a limited number of fans in the stands.

While the number of fans are still being worked out, early reports show that tickets will cost upwards of $500 per seat.
