The pregame dancing celebrations from JuJu Smith-Schuster are over for now.
During his weekly call with reporters, the Steelers receiver said he will no longer dance during the pregame and won’t film Tik Tok videos while dancing on an opponent’s logo.
“It’s to the point where my teammates are being asked about it. My coach is being asked about it,” said Smith-Schuster. “For the betterment of my team, I’m going to stop dancing on the logo."
While it was mentioned while the Steelers were on their 11-game winning streak his dances did not cause much controversy.
But after he danced on the Bengals logo on the 50-yard line before the game, spiking two balls on the logo, Cincinnati safety Vonn Bell said the move really motivated him.
Bell said the hit was disrespectful and late in the first quarter leveled Smith-Schuster with a hit that knocked the ball loose and led to a Bengals touchdown.
During his weekly news conference on Tuesday, Coach Mike Tomlin said he would talk to JuJu about the dancing.
