Judge Mathis is back!
Mere days after his long-running “Judge Mathis” TV show was canceled, he has a new series to announce.
Judge Greg Mathis will make his return to screens this fall with “Mathis Court with Judge Mathis,” according to Variety.
“Judge Greg Mathis is an outstanding, charismatic, and iconic television host, and we are extremely confident that our eight and newest court series with Judge Mathis will be very successful for years to come,” Byron Allen of the show’s production company Allen Media Group said.
Mathis is the longest-running black male host on TV and was one season behind Judge Judy for longest-running court show when his previous series was canceled.
The judge had nothing but wonderful things to say about his new production partner in Allen.
“For years I’ve proudly watched Byron Allen build a first-class global media empire. After 24 years on the air, I can’t think of a better company to work with to create my next great chapter,” he said.
