Kim Kardashian is keeping Elizabeth Taylor’s legend alive.
BBC Arts announced via press release that it had commissioned a three-part documentary about Taylor from Passion Pictures.
According to the release, Kardashian will be executive producing the series, which has the tentative title “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar.”
"Elizabeth Taylor was unapologetically herself, a fighter,” Kardashian said in the press release. “She is proof that you can keep evolving and changing and have different chapters in your life – and she paved the way for all of us who came after her with that blueprint.”
The series will showcase “privileged access” to people throughout Taylor’s life who knew her best, along with “never-before-heard audio tapes, interviews, and unseen TV footage.”
Kardashian conducted the last interview with Taylor before her death from congestive heart failure at the age of 79 in 2011.
The documentary series is currently in production and will air on BBC Two in the UK.
