The billboards read: “PSST…," “Looking for UTOPIA?,” and “WRONG WAY!” At this time, there is no official release date for Scott’s new album. “I’m evolving, collaborating with new people, delivering a whole new sound, a whole new range," Scott previously told i-D Magazine, revealing details about Utopia.
The “Goosebumps” rapper was originally scheduled to headline the 2022 edition of Coachella, but his slot was canceled after the Astroworld injuries and deaths. Following the Astroworld tragedy, a Change.org petition accumulated more than 70,000 signatures for Scott’s removal from the festival.
Scott’s mentor Ye, formally known as Kanye West, was also slated to perform at this year’s Coachella. It was rumored that Scott would have made an appearance during Ye’s set. However, Ye was recently removed from the lineup and replaced with The Weeknd. Coachella 2022 is set to take place April 15-17 and April 22-24.
