I am a Florida man, born in Vero Beach. At a young age I wanted to play baseball professionally and around 10th grade I realized that I was just terrible at it. Seriously, I played catcher, and couldn't even catch the ball half the time.
Right around that time I started listening to a evening comedy talk show on an Orlando radio station, and from that point on I knew what I wanted to do for a living. Start a pyramid scheme and/or dedicate my life to radio. There was nothing I could do about it, I loved it. I've worked at stations up and down the east coast over the last 15 years or so, and finally made it back to Orlando to host the afternoon show in the city that made me fall in love with this dumb business in the first place.
I'm not really good at describing who I am as a person, but I guess I'm a nice person? Isn't that what people who aren't nice say? Yea, I'm nice. I think. See, the last couple sentences pretty much describes my brain process on a minute by minute basis. I have opinions, but I'm also not an expert at anything. I'm open to new ideas, unless I have to leave my house to participate in this new idea. I'm really starting to sound like an old man.
I love great music, people that aren't as*holes, karaoke, tacos (that's pretty basic), my wife, dog, psychiatrist, space, my family, going down YouTube rabbit holes, laughing, warm clothes and blankets out of the dryer, the beach, vacation, and watching dumb reality tv shows in bed. So, yea, I've gotten pretty boring in my old age, and I like it.
What's something that I don't like? Writing about myself.
Thanks for reading this thing, and thanks for listening. I really do appreciate it!
