Blake Shelton is back with the release of a new single, “Texas,” he says is inspired by Texas’ own, George Strait. “‘Texas’ is a song about a guy whose girl just completely went missin',” he explained. “The only place that he imagined she would’ve wound up has to be down somewhere in the state of Texas because that’s what we all learned from George Strait.”
After teasing the song to fans over the past few days via social media, Shelton is ready to release the track in its entirety and hopes fans will enjoy the latest addition to his catalog. In addition to the song and music video release, Shelton will be going live across all his social channels at 12:45p CT on November 15 to answer fan questions and share more about the song and video.
