We can all agree that Doja Cat absolutely slayed Coachella! Fans are still amped about her electrifying live set this past weekend. Now following her performance, Wale has crowned Doja as one of the best rappers.

"Doja Cat one of the best rappers out male or female alien or otherwise," Wale tweeted. “Anybody that raps for real… Can listen to her raps and can clearly see she is a rapper. I’m just now finding out there was a debate… I’ll just say this I’ve been doin’ this thing for a minute now… When that girl drops somethin’ on one of these ‘rap’ beats?? You gon’ see,” he continued. Vince Staples also co-signed Wale’s tweet in the replies.
Doja Cat’s artistry has been up for debate recently. Some have argued about whether she’s a singer or rapper. Last month, Remy Ma appeared on the Drink Champs podcast and said that she doesn't classify Doja Cat as a rapper. However, Remy is definitely a fan of Doja’s music. “Let’s be clear with that. They put her in the rapper category, I don’t think she’s a rapper. But she makes dope records, and I think she’s dope,” she said on the podcast.
Doja Cat made her Coachella debut Sunday night (April 17). The superstar in the making performed songs from her album Planet Her in addition to new tracks “Hound Dog” and “Vegas.” She was also joined on stage by Tyga and Rico Nasty.
