Derk Brown is the News, Weather and Traffic Reporter for 96-3 R&B for the Lou and Hot104.1. Derk is born and raised in St.Louis Mo. He attended Marquette High School in the RockWood School District. His passion for covering news began in 2014 during the shooting of Mike Brown. Derk's career kick started in Ferguson helping his community, shortly after he became known for his live stream documenting the Protests/Riots; not just in St.Louis but nationwide. His passion for reporting stories landed him a job at the local radio station.
