Earlier this week, Carey began teasing fans with a snippet of her new track, bumping it from the stereo of a car with a license plate, "MC16." Does that make it the first sample of Mariah's 16th studio album? If so, it would be her first since 2018's Caution. Not that the Queen hasn't stayed booked and busy, standing atop the holiday season for years, but some wellness checks will be issued if another era of Mimi is imminent.
