Inside the Mental Health Music Festival with Jason Isbell and more

Taking place Thursday, October 8 at 8PM ET

Saturday, October 10 is World Mental Health Day and numerous artists are coming together ahead of time to raise awareness for mental health.

Sound Mind Live, an organization that serves to amplify the voices of artists who are mental health champions, is throwing the virtual Come Together: Mental Health Music Festival. Proceeds from the livestream will support free COVID-19 mental health programs of the National Alliance on Mental Illness as well as their local affiliates around the country.

The livestream concert begins at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on Thursday, October 8th and features an impressive lineup. Among the artists scheduled to perform include Smith & Myers, Jason Isbell, Kiiara, American Authors, Jade Bird, Yola, Shamir, and Son Little.

Throughout the livestream, a number of speakers from Mental Health America, National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City, and MusiCares will take part in panel discussions. The event is hosted by comedian Jordan Carlos.

Panel topics include mental health and the LGBTQ+ community, mental health and the BIPOC community, and mental health and the music industry.
