There are many Dallas Cowboys fans who probably think they know everything there is to know about Jerry Jones, but they are about to find out they don’t know the half of it. It has been reported that Netflix is set to acquire a docu-series about the Cowboys owner for nearly $50 million. The 10 part series promises to give viewers an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at one of the most influential figures in sports.
Jerry Jones is no stranger to creating must see television, but Netflix is hoping his life story is just as interesting as his football team. The streaming service out bid competitors, such as ESPN and Amazon, for the rights to the 10 part docu-series, according to Bro Bible. While not much is known about the series at this time, it will be a collaboration between NFL Films and Skydance Sports.
The series is expected to focus on the Cowboys Dynasty days of the 1990s. No release date has been announced at this time. Whenever it does premiere, it will likely be must see viewing for all Cowboys fans.
