This is not exactly the kind of news you want to see as we prepare for the busiest traveling season of the year.
A new report from consumer review platform ConsumerAffairs has declared DFW Airport as the second worst airport in the nation for flight delays and cancellations.
The only airport deemed more disruptive than DFW was Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia.
The study found that 25.18% of all flights DFW had delays ranging from 15 minutes to three hours. The report’s author wrote, “It’s the kind of delay that eats into your day without necessarily blowing up your whole trip.”
On the plus side, DFW offered more scheduled backup flights to the same destination than many of the other airports on this list, giving travelers hope that their vacations weren’t immediately ruined.
