The internet has basically become one giant talent show, as many share their abilities online in hopes of gaining worldwide attention. While it has worked out for musicians, actors, painters and many other art forms in the past, a new artistic expression is now gaining attention on the internet, thanks to Jim Carrey. The actor recently shared video of a baker making a life-size Grinch cake, and now many want a cake of their own.
Lara Mason, who runs a baking company called Cake Anything in England, recently shared video of her making a cake inspired by the Grinch for Christmas. The cake is over five feet tall and weighs over 250 pounds.
While Mason was proud of her work, it became even more special when Jim Carrey, who starred in ‘The Grinch,’ shared her video on his Twitter account.
“My ultimate goal is not just to be admired by my fans, but to be eaten by them. I wonder if she does an angel food Ace Ventura?” Carrey said in his now viral tweet. Since then, many have requested Mason make other character based cakes, according to Fox News. Hopefully more of her cakes go viral in the future.
