Any time a fan sees their favorite band live, they want to hear the classics played. Of course, musicians are usually more focused on their new music than once again playing the songs that made them famous. That’s why many artists often scoff any time one of their hits is brought up. The most recent example of this is Bryan Adams, who shut down an interviewer, refusing to answer a question about one of his biggest songs, ‘Summer of 69.’
Bryan Adams recently appeared on Today Extra in Australia to promote his new album. However, the interviewers also wanted to discuss the artist’s career, including some of his earlier work. When one of the hosts brought up ‘Summer of 69,’ asking the meaning behind the song, Adams quickly shot back saying “I don't want to talk about that, I want to talk about the new album. That's why I'm here.”

While the interviewer continued, moving on to another question, the other host could be heard saying “wow, okay” in disbelief. According to Daily Mail, this is not the first time Adams has refused to discuss his classic song. Hopefully his new album has a song on it that ends up bigger than ‘Summer of 69,’ so he can finally stop talking about it.
