If you've ever wanted to your home to evoke fast-food chic, here is your best opportunity.
According to CultureMap Dallas, Dairy Queen is closing 24 locations across the state of Texas, including two in North Texas, and the restaurant is putting its furnishings up for sale.
LocalAuctions.com is the home of the "Dairy Queen Liquidation," and is selling the "complete contents" of the 24 Dairy Queens to the highest bidder, with the auction closing this Thursday February 20.
The website reads, "Multiple Dairy Queen locations are closing their doors and must liquidate the assets. Bid on a large variety of restaurant assets and related items that need to be removed from the location."
The locations closing are spread throughout the state, with the majority located in small towns in East Texas and the Panhandle.
However, two spots in North Texas are shutting their doors, at 5441 Rufe Snow Dr. in North Richland Hills, and 1509 Corsicana Highway in Hillsboro.
20 Dairy Queen locations still remain in the Dallas area and 15 around Fort Worth.
