We all know someone (it might even be you) who says they can't function in the morning without coffee.
Apparently, that's an epidemic very common in Dallas.
A new study from MattressNextDay found that Dallas is actually the third most caffeine-dependent city in the nation!
We are just behind Las Vegas and Seattle, which makes sense since Vegas you're up all night and need some caffeine to fuel you through the next day, and Seattle which is the home of Starbucks.
Sleep Expert Martin Seeley warns about drinking too much caffeine throughout the day, though.
He said, ""With ready access to coffee at a moment's notice and jobs that demand long hours in the office, caffeine is an easily accessible and potent way to perk us up and get us through the day. However, this also creates a vicious cycle of caffeine dependency.
"Caffeine will affect your sleep entirely depends on how much caffeine you drink. Roughly speaking, it takes up to 10 hours for your body to break down caffeine in your system, so the more caffeine you drink in the day, the longer it will sit in your system."
