Of all the trends from the past that could have reemerged today, the last many would have assumed would return would be the mullet haircut.
However, in recent years some young men have gone to the hair style that was popular in the 80s. Now, one DFW boy has been named a finalist in the national “Mullet Champ” competition.
Gavin Clinton from Weatherford has a hairdo that pretty much defines “business in the front, party in the back. That’s why he was named a finalist for this year’s “Mullet Champ” competition, where he will compete in the 5 to 8-year-old division. “I saw one. I wanted one. I got one. I've been working on this bad boy for 3 years," said Clinton.
According to Fox 4 News, round one is currently underway, with voting ending on Monday. The final round will be held August 7-11. Anyone interested in supporting their fellow North Texan can vote here. Now that the mullet is back, hopefully it never goes away.
