The cats vs dogs debate will never end, as each side is passionate about their preferred animal. Sadly for those on the cat side of the argument, there are plenty of dog friendly establishments all over the country, and significantly less for cats. However, cat lovers will soon have a place of their own in DFW, as a local cat rescue organization plans to open new cat café.
North Texas nonprofit ‘A Voice for All Paws’ recently announced they will expand their reach with the new Cat Café. The business will give cat lovers a place to grab a coffee, which also provides a home for rescued cats and veterinary care for abandoned cats. According to Dallas Culture Map, the cafe will open side by side with an adoption center and luxury boarding near Garland and Peavy.

“Our team, along with volunteers, will run the cat café and adoption center. We will run it like a business with a coffee shop where people can work,” said AVAP president Caroline Stovall. The Cat Café will be located at 1211 Casa Vale and is expected to open later this year. Soon cat lovers will have a place outside their home to enjoy their favorite animal.
