Workers are still clearing up the debris and wreckage caused by the flooding in Central Texas at the beginning of July.

Amidst all the chaos, an unexpected and delightful discovery was made.

Crews uncovered dinosaur footprints in a layer of limestone in northwest Travis County.

Per the Dallas Morning News, experts from the University of Texas at Austin's Jackson School of Geosciences confirmed that the tracks mirror those of an Acrocanthosaurus, a bipedal carnivorous species between 30 to 40 feet long.

The tracks are estimated to be about 110 to 115 million years old.
