With the Olympics in full swing, many have been glued to their television sets over the last few weeks. While everyone has their favorite sport to watch, such as basketball, gymnastics and swimming, many are learning new sports each day, like dressage. Apparently even animals are intrigued by the sport of horse dancing as a recent viral video shows a dog closely watching the competition and trying to follow along.
In the video that has since gone viral, Willow the golden retriever stands with its face up against the television screen, as Olympic dressage plays. Like many others watching the competition, the dog was confused at the horse’s movement, even attempting to lift its own legs in a similar fashion.
According to Yahoo, the video has been viewed over 600,000 times since being shared.
Many online claimed to have had a similar reaction the first time they saw dressage during the Olympics. While the dog struggled to follow along; with some practice it could be ready for competition soon enough. Maybe one day a dog will be seen competing among the horses.
