Get ready for the California-Texas burger wars to be renewed.
A Hollywood favorite, Fatburger, has announced plans to open its first location in Dallas proper.
The chain already has a couple of spots in North Texas, in Arlington and Allen, but they’ve announced a new location at the Preston Hollow Village development, in the former Dugg Burger space, located at 949 Walnut Hill Ln. #120, Dallas.
Jake Berchtold, COO of FAT Brands’ Fast Casual Division, said in a statement per CultureMap Dallas, “Texas continues to be a high-growth market for Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express.
“The Dallas opening is a testament to the strong demand we have seen across the market, and showcases the recipe for success we have created with our fresh, made-to-order menu coupled with an energetic, welcoming dining environment.
A grand opening celebration will be held on November 22 at 10:30 am, and the first 100 customers will receive a free fatburger.
Guests will also recieve free fries with any purchase through the day.
