We've heard that the upcoming total solar eclipse in just a week's time is a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity.
April 8th is just another day for Fort Worth resident LaVerne Biser, who at 105-years-old is currently preparing to view his 13th solar eclipse!
Over the past six decades, Biser's travels to witness eclipses have taken him to the Black Sea near Russia, a state park in the plains of eastern New Mexico, a sandy beach on Canada's Prince Edward Island, and a pasture in a small town in Nebraska, just to name a few.
While eclipses happen every 18 months or so, they can fall anywhere across the globe. Thankfully, Biser doesn't have to travel too far to witness Monday's.
"I guess I am an eclipse chaser," Biser told the Dallas Morning News. "It's a beautiful thing to see."
