There are many reasons to love dogs, but now one more can be added to the list. A man in Vermont recently had his life saved by his dog after suffering injuries in a car accident. The dog took off running from the car, eventually coming back with police to help the injured men.
Cameron Laundry was recently involved in a highway accident in Hartland, Vermont, crashing through a guardrail, ejecting him and a passenger from his vehicle. Luckily for the two, Laundry’s dog was in the car as well, and wasn’t injured. Police found the dog wandering along the highway, but when they went to corral the young Shiloh Shepherd, it took off running, leading them to the injured men.

“The dog wanted Trooper Sandberg and the [other] officers to follow her. Tinsley never tried to run away, but rather [she led] them further up the road and over the bridge," said public relations and community outreach officer Amber Lagace. According to Fox News, Laundry suffered minor while his passenger suffered more serious injuries. Hopefully Laundry’s dog got plenty of treats after its heroic act.
