We get that weddings can be very expensive, but usually that expense falls on the bride and groom.  If you can’t afford the wedding of your dreams, maybe you should cut back on your dream wedding, right?

However, one couple from Houston believes that their guests should be the one to foot the bill.

Per Chron.com, 23-year-old Hassan Ahmed and his bride-to-be want to offset the cost of their wedding, which is encroaching $200,000, by charging their guests to attend.

According to a TikTok Ahmed posted, he feels that since many of his guests shelled out that cash to see Chris Brown or Beyoncé, why not fork over the funds to attend their wedding?

He said in the video, “What I don't understand is that y'all spend more money on stupid stuff, but you can't come out to support your family and your friends at a wedding.”

Not surprisingly, most of the invited guests declined the invitation.  Ahmed has since turned the comments on the video off.
