There have been many different television shows rebooted over the last few years, but the one’s people tend to question the most are the children’s shows making a comeback for an audience that has far outgrown their content. However, the latest children’s show reboot may have finally got it right, as a classic Nickelodeon game show is being brought back as a show for adults.

It was announced recently that ‘Legends of the Hidden Temple’ would return to television, but instead of kid contestants, the competitors would all be adults. The show will be set in a “mysterious jungle with tougher challenges and bigger prizes.” Of course there will be plenty of nostalgia involved too, including the return of the talking statue “Olmec.”

According to Screen Crush, the show will no longer appear on Nickelodeon, as the revival series will air on The CW. While no official premiere date has been announced, fans are already trying to figure out how to get on the show as contestants. Hopefully this new version will still have plenty of slime.
