Multiple DFW suburbs land on list of best cities for remote workers

The study look at factors such as; remote job opportunities, internet connectivity and cost of living

Over the last few years, many workers have left the office and began working from home. As more and more companies decide to ditch the office and have employees work remotely, a number of new factors have popped up that affects everyone’s work routine. Now, a new study has named the best cities for remote workers and multiple DFW suburbs made the list.

The study, conducted by Austin-based outdoor services provider LawnStarter, looked at 194 of the biggest U.S. cities and judged them off of 20 factors related to remote working. Some of those factored included; remote job opportunities, internet connectivity, cost of living, and availability of personal workspace. Based on these variables, LawnStarter found that DFW is one of the best places in the country for remote workers.

The study ranked Frisco as their number one city for remote workers, with Dallas landing at number three, Arlington at four and Plano taking the number eight spot, according to Dallas Culture Map. Other Texas cities making the list were Austin at six and Houston at 11. As for DFW, it’s just another thing they can claim to be best at.
