Tacos on the way home from the bar are a right that belongs to every Texas. There’s a new spot in Fort Worth that makes obtaining delicious tacos as easy as a click of a few buttons.
In Fort Worth’s West 7th District, there is an ATM that dispenses tacos instead of cash! It’s located at 2811 Bledsoe St. and serves tacos from 10 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Emil Bragdon of Funky Lime Hospitality tells WFAA, “You walk up to it, it's very user friendly, you just place your order. Just like an ATM spits out the money, this thing spits out tacos.”
Among other items, the menu includes chicken, pork, or steak tacos on flour or corn tortillas, classic elotes, Flaming Hot Cheetos elotes, Takis elotes, and bottled water.
Bragdon says they plan to open the taco ATM on Sundays as well by the end of the month.
"It's a fun way to do things, it's a little bit different, but people are having a lot of fun with it," he said. "It's been exciting to see the customer base excited about it as well."
