It’s the holiday season, which means thousands of shoppers are flooding NorthPark mall dragging their significant others along for the torturous ride.
Thankfully, Nordstrom at NorthPark Mall understands that there are fellas out there who aren’t particularly excited at the prospect of a whole afternoon spent shopping, so they set up what they are calling a “Husband Daycare,” featuring plenty of comfortable seating, a bar, and televisions showing nothing but sports.
Dallas woman Kelsey Cowley posted a video of the setup on TikTok, captioning the clip, “This is genius..drinks, chairs, & football… the Nordstrom at Northpark knows what they’re doing.”
NorthPark even chimed in commenting, “Drop them off and shop.”
A male commenter opined in the comments, wishing he knew of this space’s existence while he was at NorthPark. He wrote, “Where is this, I sat on the ground right in front of the fitting room for THREE HOURS until my girl finally left with some CHRISTMAS SOCKS.”
