Several residents of Plano have become victims of a group of "pranksters" who have a unique method of vandalizing homes.

Andrea and Thomas Landon were roused awake early Sunday morning after a full jar of pickles had been thrown through a window of their home.  The culprits also ripped a wooden chunk off of their front door.

Just two miles from the Landon's home lives another victim, Lance Clemens, whose house was on the receiving end of a cavalcade of raw eggs.  The pranks began with egging and grew more nefarious with a full jar of sauerkraut being launched at his door.

Clemens told WFAA, "We find it very difficult to sleep most nights, particularly on the weekend, just because it's been so consistent over a period of months."

While Plano police have yet to connect the two incidents, they are investigating the matters and are increasing patrols in the families' neighborhoods.

Police are also urging homeowners to secure their property by installing exterior lighting and surveillance systems.

They believe teenagers are to blame, as while multiple neighborhoods have been hit all of the crimes appear to be near Clark High School, located at Spring Creek Parkway just west of 75.
