There's no shortage of amazing pizza in DFW, and a small shop in Plano just received some major national recognition.
SauceBros Pizza was listed in the magazine Bon Appétit as one of eight pizzerias nationwide "reimagining the craft," where the owners use nontraditional ingredients to create their pizzas.
SauceBros mixes Bengali and Texas flavors to create their pies.
According to the Dallas Morning News, owners Redwan Huda and Labib Tarafdar were born in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh, but they don't limit themselves to just Bengali flavors; some of their pizzas include habaneros and and beef taco meat with green-hued ranch mixed with salsa verde.
Huda told BA, "Why restrict ourselves with just Bengali flavors? Let's do more."
