Don’t expect to just drop your teens off at Stonebriar Centre this summer to get them out the house.
The mall has announced a new curfew on Saturdays in an effort to “address disruptive youth gatherings.”
According to FOX 4, beginning tomorrow May 8, minor shoppers must be accompanied by a guardian 18 or older after 3pm. Safety officers will check IDs at the door. One guardian can accompany up to four minors at a time.
Stonebriar Centre said their new “Parental Guidance Required” policy is in response to disruptive, unsupervised gatherings of youth.
The mall said in a news release, “PGR is intended to help provide a safe, peaceful experience at our shopping center for all guests. PGR was not something we’ve entered lightly, and it is our hope that it will only be temporary. We request that all guests and employees respect our Code of Conduct so that we can maintain a safe, peaceful environment for the entire community.”
