At just about every job in America, it’s easy to find employees who feel they are being overworked. However, that may be true for many Texans according to a new study. The study was looking to find the most stressed states in the country, and while Texas was able to crack the top 10, it was all because no other state worked more hours than the Lone Star State.
WalletHub recently unveiled the results of the study to find the most stressed state in America. The study looked at four dimensions to base their ratings off of: Work-Related Stress, Money-Related Stress, Family-Related Stress, and Health-Related Stress. According to CW33, Texas ranked ninth on the list after beating out every other state in the most hours worked.
Not only did Texas rank fifth in most work related stress, it was also fifth in family related stress as well. Sadly, even at home Texans can’t avoid stress. Maybe that’s why sometimes staying at work is the better option in Texas.
