It was a brief escape for a briefs-wearing inmate at the Tarrant County Jail yesterday after 27-year-old Carlos Enrique Rodriguez Romero ran off near the 4600 block of Mark IV Parkway during transport.
The inmate, clad only in his underwear, was found a short time later in a nearby park.
According to NBC DFW, Romero was booked into jail in early December on alleged counts of felony aggravated robbery and tampering with a government record.
We’re sure some more charges will now be added to his rap sheet.
Romero is still awaiting trial.
