After more than three decades, Taste Addison is no more.
The city decided to cancel the long-running food festival after city officials said the event lost $750,000 last year.
According to FOX 4, in a meeting this week, the Addison City Council says the event has “run its course,” and wants to instead focus on multiple, smaller events that run throughout the year in order to promote their restaurants.
This year’s festival was supposed to take place between April 17-19.
