The TCU Horned Frogs are heading across the world to open their 2026 campaign.

The team will open the season against the University of North Carolina in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, according to the Dallas Morning News.

TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Buddie said in a statement, “We are extremely honored that TCU has been invited to participate in the 2026 Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

“This is more than just a football game. It’s an opportunity to advance TCU’s brand globally while having our student-athletes experience a unique educational opportunity and memory of a lifetime.”

TCU will also open its 2025 season against UNC, the Tar Heel debut of former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
