It seems the passion Texans put into "Friday Night Lights" is worth it as a new study found the Lone Star State is the most likely, out of any state in the nation, to produce NFL players!
The study, conducted by sports data experts Lineups, analyzed profiles of over 2,800 players to find the most common birthplaces of NFL players. According to CW33, that data was then shortlisted to the states and cities that have the most success in producing NFL players, statistically.
Texas leads with the nation with producing 304 players currently, followed by Florida (287), California, (278), Georgia (221), and North Carolina (105).
Houston is the most common birth city for NFL players, with 37 NFL players hailing from H-Town.
