There's no rest for the weary in the Lone Star State, as a new study from WalletHub found Texas to be the fourth "hardest-working" state in the nation!

Chip Lupo, an analyst for WalletHub said of the study, "It's undeniable that America has fostered a culture of hard work, with people working longer hours than residents of other developed countries and often leaving vacation time on the table.

"Working hard is commendable, but people in the hardest-working states may need to consider taking a break once in a while, as a lack of leisure time can have a negative impact on people's physical and mental health."

The top ten hardest-working states include:

1 – North Dakota
2 – Alaska
3 – South Dakota
4 – Texas
5 – Hawaii
6 – Virginia
7 – New Hampshire
8 – Wyoming
9 – Maryland
10 – Nebraska

The study also found Texans have the second-highest average workweek hours, trailing only Alaska.
