For years, high school seniors have followed the tradition of torturing their teachers one last time with a senior prank. These pranks occur at almost every school, and while most are fun sometimes they can cross the line. However, this year at a school in Texas the teachers decided to prank the students back, firing water balloons at seniors on the last day of school.
Last week, students at Harmony School of Excellence in southeast Austin thought they were close to finishing their last day of school when teachers decided to give them one last surprise. According to KXAN, the students were asked to come outside for the big surprise, but were instead met by a group of teachers standing on the roof of the school ready to fire water balloons at the students. The hilarious sendoff was captured on video and has since gone viral.
One staff member claimed the water balloon sendoff was in retaliation the senior prank. “Sure, your school could be cool. But never as cool as the admin team and teachers avenging senior prank with a surprise water balloon attack,” said the staff member. Now next year’s class will know not to mess around for their prank.
