Popular Dallas restaurant and live music venue The Rustic has announced they will be heading up the Tollway with a new location at Grandscape in The Colony.
Per CultureMap Dallas, The Rustic will be taking over the space formerly occupied by Lava Cantina, which closed in January 2025 for what owners had said would be a "thorough renovation" of the space.
Kyle Noonan, co-owner and CEO of FreeRange Concepts, owner of The Rustic, said in a release, “This project is an exciting expansion opportunity for the brand.
"We’re taking a venue that already had a heartbeat and giving it a new rhythm — one built around Americana music, local and regional dining favorites and a casual atmosphere that invite people to stay awhile.”
An opening date has yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be sometime in the summer.
