It really is true that nobody loves their home state as much as Texans love Texas.
This is the viewpoint from a video gone viral on TikTok, where a woman breaks down why she believes that Texas is the “most conceited state” in the nation.
TikTokker miketta posted the video on Sunday, explaining that Texas is the state that shows off its flag the most.
Per MySA.com, she said, “Most establishments are only going to have the American flag. Not any establishments in Texas. They are always going to have the American flag and the Texas flag. Every time.
“They could be Mexican, they could be Black, and they can be White, everybody is 'God Bless Texas' and 'Don't Mess With Texas.’ It doesn't even matter what part of Texas you are from."
Further, miketta also brought up how Texans are taught in school to be proud to be Texans, and that when she went to middle school in Texas for some time and was taught Texas history above all else.
The TikTokker also wrote in her caption how she’s surprised Texas doesn’t have its own pledge of allegiance.
